Neotrium

Neotrium is a metal that's artifical and was originally created by the ancient Neko Federation, the metal eventually found it's way into the planets mantle and then spread underground. The metal seems to propagate more in volcanic regions and oceans, and less in beautiful regions.

The metal can be used to create most anything that the Neko's and the other subcultures need.

The metal is first mined as ore, the ore is a light yellow chunk with red bluches all around it. The mineral is then refined into a fine powdery substance, this substance is dangerous when breathed in and thus must be carried in special containers, the process of refining also causes the powder to become dangerious when it contacts skin, the exception are the Inu's.

Once the metal is refined it can be brought to work shops to be heated into many types of items, including weapons and building materials, as of late, the Neko Royal Families castel is made completely out of Neotruim, it's the largest structure to have used such a materal.

Refining also create's a bi-product known as Trisen, which has other uses. One primary usage is its ability to guard against the planets Magnetic Field.
