Luviten

Luviten is a rare mineral that can only be mined by the Yuki Okami, this mineral is used heavily in the construction of magical jewelry and imbued armor and weapons.

Like Neotrium, the mineral is mined from a cave, but this mineral doesn't come out as ore, instead it comes out as a sort of bright orange diamond. The diamond is refined in a way where it is shaped into whatever object it is suppose to resemble, utilizing a series of heating and cooling techniques.

The natural cold enviroment that the Yuki Okami live in is a prime area for Luviten, and studies show that the mineral is, in a way, sentient, as it continues to 'grow' understand. There is some truth to this, as the jewelry that is made, some of it actually 'chooses' it's owner. But other jewelry is not sentient, only the most expensive are (Example - Princess Rena's necklace)

Another usage for Luviten is the creation of storm barriers on ships; these barriers protect against the harsh currents created by storms at sea, the mineral seems to create a sort of barrier that protects the ship.

And one last usage - the mineral is also used in containers, like those used to transport Neotrium, the mineral is naturally capable of shieldings the minerals from the outside.
