Nekolian

On the surface the Nekolian culture appears to be in the feudal era; they use typical swords and bows/arrows and also live in houses that are made of either brick or some other light material. However in reality they are still a pretty advanced culture with technology that rivals that of the Earth Forces.

Combine that with their proficient use of magic and you got a race that is quite difficult to assault. The only sign that any ‘type’ of technology exists are the transport gates located on the surface; these gates actually resemble an arch and are located in every major city and town, connecting the various continents together.. There is a drawback though; unlike the Ancient Gate Network, these gates can only transfer living matter; because of this all minerals (Ore, Wood, Gems, etc..) must be transferred by regular means. And besides – not everyone use’s these gates anyway since it takes away from the explorative nature of the culture.

There are two minerals that the Nekolian’s have – one is Neotrium which is a very strong and light weight metal. When it’s mined it’s mined as a chunk of ore; then it’s refined into a powdery substance so fine that it takes a special type of container to hold it. From this powder form it can be made into weapons, armor, tools, pretty much anything that comes to mind except for typical pots and pans (because it can resist fire) overall Neotrium has a very high resistance to fire but lacks a resistance to cold; however it also has a strange way of keeping certain elements on it – if a weapon is imbued with a fire element then the fire resistance of the weapon is high and fire attacks are useless against a person wielding this weapon. Like-wise a person wielding an earth imbued weapon are resistant to earth based attacks and so on and so forth.

Some villages are capable of using ‘magic’ in order to refine the ore into a usable product; because of this it’s not uncommon to find towns and villages who are able to refine Neotrium.

Another mineral is Trisen which is a synthetic by product of Neotrium and used in the construction of clothing and other light products. Trisen’s fire resistance is cut in half; but at the same time it elects a cold resistance.

Neko's also possess a powerful 'shield' orb known as a Paling Orb

Humans

Humans are very technologically advanced and because of this they are able to go from planet to planet using hyper drives. They have beam weapons and other advanced weapons and are able to destroy a planet without needing to land troops.

The Humans use something known as Node Drives, a faster than light capable drive that has to use the gravity of a star in order to make a node connection between the two planets.

Weapon Technology consists of the usage of Anti-matter based weaponry, they also have access to other, more devastating forms of killing. While they may not possess much in terms of active shielding, they do possess highly advanced armor which is resistant to almost all 'known' forms of weapons.
