Mystical Animals

Mystical animals are animals that have special abilities or talents; most of these animals are natural to Shogunin. Some, however, are artificially created – like the Protosyren and Kliton
- Retiors
- the main form of transportation on Shogunin; they resemble earth bound Veloceraptors. These animals are able to pull and carry twice their weight and are often used to carry Neotrium from the mining towns to the main city; but they also serve the purpose of being an all around transport. How they where domesticated is not known, only that they don’t eat people for food, but instead, they eat a special type of meat, some think the meat surpresses the Retiors lust for food but others think the Retiors actually enjoy the attention, especially when they are used for entertainment. They are easy to notice by the black color that runs down their backs from head to toe and tail.
- Protosyren
- One of two mystical beasts that the Tanaka family created during its long rule, the Protosyren, or as Rena just call’s her, Syren, is a dragon that’s thirty feet in length with equally as long wings. This dragon can be used either as a messenger, or as transport, however it’s also very deadly if used in combat. Its easy to identify by it's white body color, some parts of the body, like the deck and tail, are covered in semi red/black scales.
- Protokliton
- One of two mystical beasts of the Tanaka royal family; Protokliton was created by Rena herself, it’s a mystical snow white cat that’s about as tall as her, while nine feet in length. It has sharp claws that could easily rip through armor, and its fur is about as tuff as steel making it almost impossible to kill. Protokliton, while created from Rena, did give birth to four cubs and because of this Kliton doesn’t journey with Rena much, but if she feels that her Mistress is in danger she will act without haste.
- Dragons
- Dragons have long lived on Shogunin but mostly stayed out of the eye of its inhabitants. These dragons are long, dangerous, and ancient, they possess many languages including human which is odd because humans haven’t ventured this far in the galaxy. These dragons don’t usually make an appearance but they are very protective of the planet and who knows what would happen if a stranger suddenly came to attack those who resided her
