Rena is the daughter of King Tanaka Rie the CLV (155). She's shy, naive and playful and immature for her age. Or rather, immature when she doesn't have to be mature. She's a seventh grade student Kira Academy and well liked by her peers; she doesn't flunt her royal status and instead trys to just be a normal girl but that sometimes interfers with her daily life.
When she's out of the capital and on bussiness she has a personel teacher with her who teaches her while they are journeying across the land.
She possess the rare Cobalt Wind; an element of wind that is very distructive and difficult to control, despite her age and how much she trains, she still can't fully control it and trys very hard not to use it but she has an emotional problem that cause's her powers to suddenly flare up without warning. When in training, she struggles to control this spell, and often times injuries herself in the process.
Her only useful trait is that she's proficent in virtually any bladed weapon thanks to her mother and father who have been training her since she was an infant. She has a special long sword called the "Sacrament of Kresniya" which compliments her Element very well

Knowledge
Amongst the many noble children on the planet, Rena is the smartest, and is considered to be very mature for her age, despite the amount of trouble she sometimes causes. Many view her as a precocious child, siting that she deserves to be in high school and not grade-school, however many don't realize that she 'chose' not to skip a grade.
The only person smarter than her is the Augur, and perhaps her own parents. This is questionable since she possess magical abilities that even her parents don't know. At the start of the story she's appears to be completely unaware that technology is used by some of her people.
Rena is also the only one capable of utilizing ancient Neko technology, partly due to the fact that for unknowns reason's she possess Ancient Neko DNA.
Combat Arts/Weapons
Her primary weapon is the Sacrament of Cresniya, however she has a second, more out reaching weapon known as amongst her people as a Cristika, but in terms of simplicity it's really a Chakram[1]. She's uses the Cristika to reach foes that she normally couldn't reach with her sword, while she has magic, she won't use it in a crowded place due to the potential for innocent casulties. Rena's Cristika's become empowered by her own magic, and thus are very deadly to anyone 'not' wearing magical armor.
Ancient DNA
Because of Rena's strange DNA make up, she is capable of activating ancient Neko technology, the technology on her homeworld doesn't count, but that which is located off her homeworld does.
Spells
Rena doesn't like fighting, but in the event she has to she has a good arsenal of spells to back her up, all of which have been passed down through the Tanaka Family. Rena is the only child of the Royal Family who has master the basics and advanced base lines.
Basic Spells
- Hi Sphere(Fire Sphere)
- Fire Sphere is a spell that use's the base line 'Fire', when used it surrounds Rena in a sphere of fire that acts like a shield, it can be broken at will and when it does it blasts out, causing damage to anyone with ten feet. As an added effect - when this spell is active she has immunity ti fire.
- Hi Ugokasu(Fire Drive)
- Fire Drive is a spell that use's the base line 'Fire', This is a FOF (Fire and Forget) 'Missile' that Rena can use to attack flying opponents, the fire intensify's the longer it stays 'alive' but will eventually get to big and will explode. This has an added effect of causing wide area damage. Due to the low magical energy requirements to use this spell, she can fire multiple missiles, and can designate indivisual targets for each. In total - she can fire ten in one round, twenty if she push's it.
- Mizu Purizumu(Water Prism)
- A spell based off the 'water' base line, this is a devasting and one of the more powerful attacks from the basic line. What happens is that light is reflected off the Prism and directed at a person or object, normally light alone can't do much except perhaps blind a person, but this spell has the added effect of causing light to be more 'intense' than it normally is. This spell gets its 'deadly' title when Rena casts it 'twice' on herself, this causes the Prism's to be rotating in opposite directions, effectively turning them into a turret that'll fire beams of super heated energy. At will Rena can break the spell, bathing an area roughly ten-fifteen miles wide in blinding light.
- Jishin(Earthquake)
- Self Exclamatory, this spell causes the ground to break apart and rocks to become jutting out and causing serious damage to anyone or anything in the path. This spell get's an added effect if used in volcanic regions, where Lava is then added to the equation.
- Tatsumaki Triea(Tornado Triea)
- This the second most damaging spell in the basic line, basically its a tornado, but this tornado is controlled by Rena's mind and her hands. She can move it at a whim, causing it to go out into water or perhaps over a Lava pool (if used in a Volanic region) like a normal tornado, objects caught in the swireling vortex are turned into unguided missiles that can kill.
Advanced Spells
- Juryoku Oshitsubusu(Gravity Crush)
- Gravity Crush(Or as known in the Royal Family, Gravitic Crush) is the second most deadliest spell in Rena's arsenal, upon using this spell any object in the area of usage will be crushed into subatomic particles. The longer Rena holds this spell, the larger the effect is (possibly resulting in her decimating an entire continant) A smaller version of this spell, Gravitic Pursue, can be used to pull or push objects toward and away from her. The heavier the object, however, the more power she needs.
- Chiku Kakusu(Area Cloak)
- Self Exclamatory, basically an area invis that causes any organic material to sudden disappear from site. Another version of this spell allows Rena to also cloak non-organic objects, known as Object Cloak(Buttai Kakusu).
- Omega Flare
- Omega Flare is a spell that is so powerful, that it requires the usage of a special 'key' in order to use. Omega Flare is a forbidden spell that can serious damage to an area, no one really knows what the spell looks like, as no ones seen it in action. The reality of Omega Flare is that it's current name is a faint to hide it 'real' name and true intention, known only to Rena herself and a select few of the court mages. The true intent of the spell is unknown to those outside of the Royal Family and the Court Mages, however it's description of it causing 'serious damage to an area' is underexaggerated. In reality, the spell combines all forms of magic and every element on the periodic table into massive array of energy and particles. Technically, this shouldn't be scientifically possible but in this case it is. Getting hit by a fully poweded 'Omega Flare' is akin to being struck by four super-novas all going off at once in the same area, this is the reason why Rena is forbidden from using the spell without 'strict' supervision and permission, this is because the spell 'will' wreak havoc on the users body without a strong containment field. (Note - This is subject to change as the spell hasn't yet appeared in the story)
- Obvious Luminicence
- Obvious Luminicence is a spell thats far more powerful than Omega Flare, this spell utilize's the same composition as Omega Flare, but instead of a beam of energy like the flare, this spell use's the elements and components to form 'whips' of energy that lash out at whomever the user wills at. This spell doesn't have the same 'wreaking' effects on the body as the OF does, but it is still highly dangerous. (Note - This is subject to change as the spell hasn't yet appeared in the story)
Elemental Spells
Elemental Spells are considered deadly, because they are not apart of the basic or advanced line of spell. Its rare for someone to possess an Elemental Spell, these spells are mostly named after minerals, however elemental spells are spells that a combonation of all four elements, resulting in something thats very dangerous, deadly and risky to cast. The problem with using these types of spell is that they use a large amount of the persons magical energy, and more often than not, will completely drain a person after one use.
In Rena's case, she possess Cobalt Wind. While its not as powerful as the Advanced Line spell known as Omega Flare, it does turn the wind into 'blades' that Rena can use to slice things into peices, it doesn't matter what the object might be - whether its a person or a ship (space ship) the wind knows no barriers. However due to her emotional state at times, this power can suddenly flare up, this usually occurs when Rena becomes very angry, or exthremely fearful... usually only Akita and Akito can calm her down to the point where the power subsides and then disappears.
The actual usage of Cobalt Wind is a series of enchantations that Rena can perform:
"Wind of nature, Wind of earth, Wind of fire, Wind of water... I call upon thee to serve my bidding. COBALT WIND!"
