The K29 was originally developed by the Free Trade Alliance for the Sashion, to serve as a deep-space exploration shuttle, however because the climate changes on the planet the fuel used by this shuttle could never be delivered so the shuttle itself could never be used.
Based very losely on old earth space shuttles, the K29 has swept back wings that are aerodynamic and allow it to fly in an atmosphere. Equiped with a single forward firing laser cannon and two top and bottom automated turrets for point defense, the shuttle is capable of protecting itself from asteriods and other small threats.
Equiped with a power engine, the shuttle is capable of fast acceleration and deceleration. As well as a thruster pack to allow it to strafe from side to side, or even up and down. However, what the ship does lack of an adequete shield, it's current only protects itself from small asteriod impacts and thus isn't suitable for exploring planets with an intense gravity or gas giants or even a sun.
Other than that, the shuttle has a crew of ten. A pilot, co-pilot and a back up pilot. Along with a navigator, co-navigator and an engineer and four scientists that operate the sensor equipment. However, it can carry an additional six people for gound operations.
