The after effects of WW 5

Earth

Because of the nuclear war, most of the ice caps in the world have already begun to melt even when the planet began to cool they were still melting. Certain coastal areas are underwater, with Japan and places like California and such being completely gone.

For the most part, America is gone, with only a few pockets isolated from the war that were left untouched by the nuclear fallout. However, other areas like Europe and Mexico, along with other nations weren't as lucky. During the third world war, Japan was destroyed and Canada found itself no longer capable of supporting life, both places were abandoned, though Japan slipped under the ocean due to the rising waters. Canada remained relatively intact, though radiated by the previous war. By world war five, most of the radiation was gone and the place was now recovering.

Because of the war, western areas of the US were unaffected. Either because they weren't considered prime targets, or because they had already been abandoned or had been protected by the governments barrier shields. Place's like Australia were mostly unaffected because that was the location of the government capital and thus the final place for battle. Only the coastal areas were radiated due to mini-nuke detonations but most of the inland was affected.

Certain areas of Europe mostly Germany, were also unaffected since that area had only been populated by small villages and towns that were completely neutral, and thus isolated, before the war began. Mostly because the cooling of the planet even before the war had resulted in Germany becoming an extremely cold nation, and the world government didn't care much to try and set up cities there.

Weather

The weather on the planet was also greatly affected. For most of the time it's either raining or there are severe electrical storms that ravage the planet's surface. This is more common on larger continents like North America and European than on smaller continents like Hawaii and such. The affects are more profound in areas that have had heavy nuclear missile bombardment than in those that were only lightly touched. Areas like Australia and New Zealand, Sweden do have these storms but they aren't as common.

Tsunamis though are common place now due to the presence of disturbances under the ocean floor. Mostly contributing to the power generators that the Sashion used to run, these generators often picked up water currents to generate the power that was actually needed for the cities and because all cities had Tsunami barriers to protect them it wasn't much of a worry for them - but to area's not protected by those barriers it was.

Tornados aren't 'as' common though since they mostly touched down in North America and rarely anywhere else. However, this doesn't say they don't happen, because of how ravaged the American continent has become due to the use of nuclear weapons, most tornados appear as water spouts on the ocean.

The effects of nuclear weapons and global warming: Present Day Earth

Ice Caps

As stated before; the polar ice caps had begun to melt but after the course of a few years that water had been used by the Sashion to power their massive machines to give their people much in terms of luxuries. However, because nuclear weapons are severely damaged the atmosphere it as only expected that sooner or later the atmosphere itself would thin enough so that water would begin to evaporate into space. However, Kalis's Miracle had an unexpected side effect, when half the world polar ice-caps had melted it appears the KM's had also managed to use their ability to clean up radiation to also fix the atmosphere though it was only a limited patch job

Because of this, the atmosphere is rather thin and thus people can't live outside without an oxygen mask or without being in a city was an oxygen 'barrier' (like Sashion's capital)
