Maki is the first Steel Angel to be constructed by Sonic and Rose and the first Angel in the Angel Sister Project. Maki has a kind and playful personality, acting more like a kid than an adult, which gets her in trouble at times. In addition, she is very good in engineering technology and often blows up her personal lab in the closet of her quarters.

Maki appears as an eighteen year old woman with purple hair going down to her upper back. She's often seen in the standard Shinseki Uniform and is rarely seen in feminine clothes such as dresses.
